Q: What holds the magnetic bracelets together?

Magnetic power! There is no string and no clasps to hold the individual pieces together. These magnets are very strong. There are between 27 and 80 individual magnets per bracelets depending upon the style.

Q: What size magnetic bracelet should I purchase?

All bracelets are offered in 8 inch lengths. If the bracelet is too big, simply remove links to make it fit just the way you like. Occasionally someone will have a wrist bigger than 8 inches, please let us know and we will add a few extra links for you.

Q: Is wearing a magnetic bracelet therapeutic?

It has been claimed that magnetic therapy will ease the pain of ailments such as arthritis, carpal tunnel, decreased blood circulation, rheumatism, tennis elbow, Fibromyalgia and tendonitis. There is a tremendous amount of research being conducted on using magnets therapeutically. The results of the most recent study were published in the December 2004 issue of the British Medical Journal.

Q: What are the concerns about magnets and computers, pregnant women and people with pacemakers?

Direct contact with CRT screens (computer monitors, TV screens) will cause discoloration. Any magnetic memory device such as a floppy disc or the strip on the back of credit cards can be erased with direct contact from a magnet. Those wearing pacemakers or other electronic implants should always avoid exposure to magnets. It always best to check with a physician before making any changes to your wellness program.

Q: Are BodyLinx™ magnetic bracelets appropriate for children?

Absolutely-as long as the child is above the age of five. Because BodyLinx™ bracelet contain small pieces they are not suitable for very small children. That being said, we have had many parents rave about BodyLinx™ as a method to keep their children occupied during church, long car trips, etc. Children are naturally fascinated by magnets and will come up with creative uses for their BodyLinx™ bracelets!

Q: What is the strength of BodyLinx™ magnets?

There are many ways to measure magnetic strength. The most common measurement which is surface gauss. Depending upon the magnet style and size, BodyLinx™ magnets have a surface gauss of between 3800Gs and 6000Gs per magnet. BodyLinx™ bracelets contain between 27 and 80 magnets per bracelet depending upon the style.

Q: How long will it take to receive my magnetic bracelet after I order it?

All shipments are sent via US Priority Mail which takes 2-3 business days. All in-stock items that are ordered before 2pm (PST) on weekdays will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2pm will ship on the next business day. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship on Monday.

Q: What can I do to keep my magnetic bracelet looking good?

Cleaning your bracelet with a mildly damp cloth is the best way to keep it clean. Because of the strength of the magnets, anything with an electrical charge is attracted to it. If the bracelet is just worn as jewelry, the finish will remain in good condition for a long time. However, if the magnets are handled excessively, the finish will deteriorate. Since each magnet has a single point of polarity, this point takes the brunt of the friction between it and other magnets.

Q: How much is shipping and handling?

There is no charge for shipping and handling. All shipments are sent via US Priority Mail which takes 2-3 business days. Q: What is your return policy?

If, for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, please return it, in new condition, within 30 days for a prompt refund! Shipping and handling fees are only refundable in the event that Swell Products, LCC made an error on the order.

Q: What is the finish on the magnetic bracelets?

The magnets all of have a triple plating that is nickel, copper and nickel. The silver magnets have a nickel finish. The gold magnets are plated in 24K gold. The black/gunmetal magnets are finished in black nickel.
